Football Basics

Need some football basics!?
a guy i like is really into football… and i want to learn more about it… some basics please?
Although the Football season Is Over, you could/Should
Simply Ask this guy about Football and what he knows and likes about it.
That will give “Him” a reason to show how much He knows about the sport
(us guys Love to talk about something We might actually know about and enjoy)
Plus it shows that “You” are interested in it. (Which may make Him like you more)
“American” Football is basically moving the ball into the opposing teams
side/field and scoring on them.
The “Offense” has the ball and tries to move it to the other end, (against the “Defense)
and Ultimately score a Touchdown (6 points and then another 1 point for a field goal
OR a 2 point conversion which is running or passing the ball instead of a field goal)
The “Defense” tries to stop the Offense from scoring or advancing the ball (gain yardage)
Good Luck dear Jenny D.
